Burka Tanzanian Espresso
What is it?
This beautiful Tanzanian bean is a floral coffee with a green apple acidity and jasmine tea undertones. Shade grown in the Arusha region on the slopes of Mount Meru. The Burka Estate is one of the largest coffee farms in Tanzania, with two onsite wet mills, which gives them full control of the processing.
Who is it for?
If appreciating light and fine complexities of African coffees is something your into then this is the bean for you. A medium roast profile with a bright and refreshing taste. If you are a brew master for drip/pour over coffees then this is a treat. With so many layers and hints and flavours, a great cup is guaranteed.
Tony says ...
This coffee shows up beautifully any which way its been brewed. Shade grown coffees like this one are a joy to roast, as the roast progresses so do the aromas, and that's nothing until you smell it after its been ground. Its smooth and fresh and bright. I'm delight to have this bean back in our roastery.
